General description:
First we have the mountain bike venue followed by an orienteering mountain  hiking and glacier trekking venue.

Specifics:
Our mountain bike venue is well proved, and even though some have tried it before we do not think that this will be unfair to those teams who haven’t tried it before. It’s fully manned by officials who will direct you in a figure of eight leading out of town to the N, over some small hills and down the Flower valley back to town where you make another loop completing the figure of eight just at the Post Office. You’ll have to repeat the route 5 times total - the last time cycling back to the finish line where every one of your team has to cross the finish line. Then you can change clothes/shoes and pick up your glacier gear to start the hiking stage directly from the tents behind the Museum.

You can split your team into 2+2, letting the one 2 person “team” summit B1 and the other summit B2, but the team has to meet at B3 and you’re not allowed to proceed from B3 before everyone in the team are together. From B3 you’ll have to cross a small glacier, and this requires you to use the glacier gear (crampons, iceaxes, helmets, harnesses, rope and prussiks) – this is a general rule: travelling on glaciers requires full glacier gear.

Having checked in at B4 you’re now free to head back home to the finish line at the museum.

Please observe that the terrain has lots of areas without tracks - there are numerous possibilities to get to the summits, most of them with a lot of loose scree, some steep, and a few actually unsafe because of inclination and loose rocks, so we expect you to be considerate and careful for your own and others safety.
